Course Description The objective of the Bookkeeping/Accounting program is to train students for entry level positions in the accounting field. In addition to written instruction, students are provided with learning aids that help them apply the principles and procedures of the accounting cycle. This program prepares students to become employed in small accounting and bookkeeping firms or to operate a bookkeeping service. Graduates could be employed as bookkeepers, payroll or budget clerks, billing clerks, accounts receivable or payable clerks, or start their own business.
