School/Parent/Guardian Involvement

Educere, its subsidiaries, its affiliates, and its participating education providers

including but not limited to program and course descriptions, product, or other
content of this website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
If a service, including but not limited to programs or courses, or product offered
through Educere is not as described, your sole remedy is to withdraw from the service,
including but not limited to program or course.

Parties other than Educere and its subsidiaries provide services through this website.
In addition, we provide links to the websites of affiliates, participating education
providers, companies, certain other businesses and individuals. We are not responsible
for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant the offerings of, any of these
affiliates, participating education providers, companies, businesses or individuals
or the content of their Websites. Educere does not assume any responsibility or
liability for the actions, services, products, and content of all these and any
other third parties. You should carefully review their privacy statements and other
conditions of use.
Withdraw Policy
Refunds for courses follow the course withdraw and/or refund policy of each participating
education provider, and will vary for each participating education provider. Additionally, there is
a $25 Educere withdraw fee. To withdraw from a course the student must follow the notification process required
by each participating education provider, as well as immediately notify the Educere
Personal Learning Coach™ by email. Educere will coordinate the refund process
with each participating education provider and forward the appropriate refund directly
to the student or school.

EDUCATION PROVIDERS SUCH AS INDEPENDENT UNIVERSITIES, COLLEGES, HIGH SCHOOLS AND
OTHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS DELIVER ALL COURSES. PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PROVIDERS
ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND ARE NEITHER AGENTS NOR EMPLOYEES OF EDUCERE. COURSE
OFFERINGS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE AND EDUCERE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT
A COURSE FROM ANY PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PROVIDER WILL BE AVAILABLE TO A STUDENT.
ENROLLMENT IN THE COURSE IS CONTINGENT ON ACCEPTANCE FROM THE PARTICIPATING EDUCATION
PROVIDER DELIVERING THE COURSE. EDUCERE DOES NOT RETAIN REVIEW AUTHORITY OVER PARTICIPATING
EDUCATION PROVIDERS RELATED TO STUDENTS ATTENDING COURSES THROUGH EDUCERE. EDUCERE
IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR GRADES RECEIVED BY INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS IN COURSES OFFERED

EVERY EDUCATION INSTITUTION, WHETHER OR NOT THE EDUCATION INSTITUTION IS AN EDUCERE PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PROVIDER, HAS ITS OWN POLICY AS IT RELATES TO ACCEPTING CREDITS FROM OTHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. THE ACCEPTANCE OF CREDITS OF ONE EDUCATION INSTITUTION (I.E. UNIVERISTY, COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL, ETC) BY ANOTHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION (I.E. UNIVERISTY, COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL, ETC) WILL VARY FROM EDUCATION INSTITUTION TO EDUCATION INSTITUTION. STUDENTS SHOULD CHECK THE CREDIT TRANSFER POLICIES OF THE EDUCATION INSTITUTION FOR WHICH THE STUDENT WISHES TO TRANSFER CREDITS EARNED FROM AN EDUCERE PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PROVIDER. CUSTOMERS (I.E. SCHOOLS, STUDENTS ETC) AGREE TO HOLD EDUCERE HARMLESS RELATED TO ANY CREDITS EARNED FROM AN EDUCERE PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PROVIDER THAT ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY ANOTHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION.
BY SIGNING THE EDUCERE STUDENT APPLICATION, THE PARENT/GUARDIAN OF THE STUDENT, GRANTS EDUCERE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE EDUCERE PERSONAL LEARNING COACH™, PERMISSION TO ACCESS THE STUDENT’S EDUCATION RECORD AND TO TRANSFER INFORMATION AND COLLABORATE WITH THE STUDENT, PARENT/GUARDIAN, SCHOOL, AND PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PROVIDER REGARDING THE STUDENT’S EDUCATION RECORD AND PERFORMANCE IN A COURSE DELIVERED TO THE STUDENT THROUGH EDUCERE. CUSTOMERS (I.E. SCHOOLS, STUDENTS ETC) AGREE TO HOLD EDUCERE HARMLESS FOR ANY AND ALL ACTIONS CONNECTED WITH THE DIVULGANCE OF INFORMATION IN THE STUDENT’S EDUCATION RECORD TO THE SCHOOL AND/OR PARTICIPATING EDUCATION PROVIDER.
CUSTOMERS (I.E. SCHOOLS, STUDENTS ETC) ARE EXPECTED TO CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A RESPONSIBLE, ETHICAL, AND POLITE MANNER. NO CUSTOMER (I.E. SCHOOLS, STUDENTS ETC) SHALL PERFORM ANY ACT WHILE PARTICIPATING IN EDUCERE'S PROGRAMS WHICH CAN BE CONSTUED AS ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL. SOME MATERIAL THAT CAN BE ACCESSED ON THE INTERNET MAY BE INACCURATE; AND SOME RESOURCES MAY CONTAIN MATERIAL THAT IS DEEMED CONTRARY TO PREVAILING COMMUNITY STANDARDS OR INAPPROPRIATE FOR CLASSROOM USE. ACCESS TO SUCH MATERIAL IS NOT PERMITTED WHILE PARTICIPATING IN EDUCERE'S PROGRAMS. IF SUCH MATERIAL IS ENCOUNTERED, IT SHALL BE THE CUSTOMERS (I.E. SCHOOLS, STUDENTS ETC) RESPONSIBILITY TO DISENGAGE IMMEDIATELY. THE CUSTOMER (I.E. SCHOOL, STUDENT ETC) SHALL REFRAIN FROM DOWNLOADING THIS MATERIAL AND SHALL NOT IDENTIFY OR SHARE THE LOCATION OF THIS MATERIAL. TRANSMISSION OF MATERIAL DEEMED CONTRARY TO PREVAILING COMMUNITY STANDARDS OR INAPPROPRIATE FOR CLASSROOM USE IS PROHIBITED MAY BE ILLEGAL AND PUSHISHABLE BY LAW. CUSTOMERS (I.E. SCHOOLS, STUDENTS ETC) AGREE TO HOLD EDUCERE HARMLESS FOR ANY AND ALL INSTANCES WHERE SUCH MATERIAL MAY BE ENCOUNTERED.

Applicable Law
By visiting Educere.net, you agree that the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Educere, its subsidiaries or its affiliates.
Disputes
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Educere.net or to programs or courses you purchase through Educere shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Educere’s intellectual property rights, Educere may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
