Course Description
Are you ready to step into a critical leadership role that oversees the development of every successful business' most valuable resource? In the first half of the course, you will wear the shoes of a Human Resource Management (HRM) professional and will learn how to build and manage a team to help a company reach its goals. You will also explore and perform some of the key responsibilities of a HRM professional: research, interviewing, reporting, recruiting, hiring, assessing employees, and more! Are you ready to help develop invaluable human resources that are the heart of a company and help your company thrive? Learn how to create a winning culture through human resources!


In the second half of the course, you'll step into the shoes of an HRM professional and explore key duties such as onboarding, training and development, retaining and terminating employees, safety and risk managements, company communication, and more! You'll also learn about different career opportunities in the field of HRM, develop collateral based on real-world scenarios involving HRM tasks and responsibilities, and the role of HRM in a global environment. - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months
- 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months
- 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months

ABBREVIATED COURSES - A shortened course intended for students seeking to recover credits or make-up failed courses during the regular school year or over the summer.
- Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days.
- Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.

PARTIAL COURSES - A partial version of an online course intended for students temporarily away from classes (i.e. Home Bound Instruction, In/Out-of School Suspension).
- Partial courses must be completed by your school's end date
