Course Description
This is an honors level course that challenges students with capstone analysis, evaluation, and creation. This course includes a required Capstone Project for each semester of the course, including a research paper and multimedia component.

This course provides students with an introduction to the German language. Students begin their language study and development with the following four language skills: listening, writing, reading, and speaking through a variety of content related activities. The themes covered throughout the course are: introductions and greetings, friends and family, school subjects and classroom objects, free time activities, daily routines, and living. Students will learn basic grammar concepts and vocabulary in order to communicate with others in variety of real world situations in the German language. Culture is incorporated throughout each unit in an effort to help the student gain a more global understanding of cultures and customs worldwide.
