Course Description Students will learn about the history and evolution of nursing, education and licensure requirements, career path options, and nursing responsibilities. Students will also focus on foundational information such as basic anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, first aid, and disease prevention. Delivery Method Course Materials An internet connection and computer or tablet hardware is required. Software requirements include a PDF reader, word-processing application (such as Word), MP4/video player, and Flash player (optional). Free downloadable software is available for each of these.
