Course Description This is an honors level course that challenges students with capstone analysis, evaluation, and creation. This course includes a required Capstone Project for each semester of the course, including a research paper and multimedia component. Have you ever wondered about the secrets of the deep and the creatures below the ocean's surface? It is truly a new frontier of discovery. Begin to better understand the aquatic cycles, structures, and processes that generate and sustain life in the sea. You will use scientific inquiry, research, and problem-solving to conduct various scientific procedures and become a more capable marine scientist. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.
