Course Description
The solid basis acquired in Middle School Chinese 1 is expanded in this course with instruction equivalent to that found in the second semester of high school Chinese I. They learn the elegant simplicity of Chinese grammar and the subtleties of Chinese pronunciation through entertaining lessons that give a base of conversational ability and listening comprehension. Children build a foundation for reading and writing in the Chinese language through an adaptive technology that lets them choose an approach that works best for them. Engaging graphics, videos, and games keep children interested, and make learning a new language exciting.
