Course Description This course offers students an overview of the role and practice of the paralegal. Students learn legal terminology, the basic principles of law and the legal system and the professional and ethical practices expected of a paralegal. The course also covers elements of business law, civil and criminal litigation as well as legal research and writing. Delivery Method Course Materials Penn Foster Virtual High School will have course materials, if any, shipped directly to students. There is no additional cost for course materials.
