Course Description
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as life long learners. Consumer Math highlights practical real world applications of math topics. The course opens with paycheck deductions, insurance, taxes, benefits and budget creation before expanding to the role of credit and credit scores in personal finances. The course concludes with essential information on the financing involved in purchasing a house and car, as well as information on future planning with the stock market and retirement funding options.
