Course Description
Common medical terminology is a critical part of the language used by health-care practitioners. Individuals with medical terminology training are capable of analyzing and interpreting medical reports related to specific body systems. In our Medical Terminology online course, youÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ll learn to identify medical terms and words by their component parts; define the body structure and its systems, cavities, planes, and positions, and explain the importance of medical terminology in health-care professions.

The completion of a certificate-level program does not typically qualify a student for employment. Completion of this program may assist students who have previous academic or work related experience improve their chances for promotion or entry-level employment.
