Course Description
This course is a history survey course that covers the major events in American history. Students will learn about the foundations of the American government. This course discusses the establishment of the US Constitution, the ratification of the Constitution and the amendments to the constitution. By showing the progression of an important legal document, such as the US Constitution this course shows students how politics change and evolve overtime. This facilitates student's examination of the climate of America during many different important events such as the Civil War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, and the Civil Rights Movement.
