Course Description Earth Science explores such topics as the solar system, plate tectonics, fossils, weather patterns and earth's natural history. The course places emphasis on an experiential approach that provides opportunities for students to become involved in the scientific process. This course meets state standards and is based on the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) standards.
