Course Description This course is a reading- and writing-intensive version of our English Fundamentals course. Students read classic and contemporary literature, including excerpts from The Odyssey; The Call of the Wild; and the works of O'Henry, Mark Twain and William Shakespeare. This course meets state standards and is based on the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) standards. College prep.
