Course Description French II builds upon what was presented in French I. Students will work with the French language through in-depth lessons, participate in thoughtful forum discussions, and learn to interpret and produce the language in both written and oral form. New vocabulary topics explored include clothing, fashion, daily routines, directions, traveling, gift giving, denotscriptions of people, other countries, large numbers, the weather, food and dining, grocery shopping, and making plans. By the end of the course, students will be able to use the present tense, the past tense for events, and the immediate future construction. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days. Prerequisites French I Course Materials A French-English dictionary is recommended but not required. Headset/Microphone is required. Format Delivery : This is a virtual course delivered entirely by an established education organization, including a virtual instructor, to students and educators. Structure Complete : This is the complete version of the virtual course. |
