Course Description
US History II continues with a chronological study of American history from the Industrial Revolution through to the present day. US History II examines significant events such as Western Expansion, the Second Industrial Revolution, the Populist and Progressive Movement, the Spanish-American War, World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, the Cold War, the Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam, Watergate, Reaganomics, Desert Storm I, 9/11, and the 2000 and 2008 presidential elections. The final topics of the course deal with the modern United States and its ever changing role in the world and culture from within the nation.
