Course Description U.S. History I (to 1900) begins with an overview of the exploration of the New World. The birth of America and the framework of the Constitution move the course forward through the politics, settlements, and growth of a nation. This course continues through Gilded Age and Progressive Era. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.
