Course Description This one-semester course introduces students to the mechanics and elements of web design and HTML, the concepts of planning and organizing websites, and the documentation and copyright issues associated with website design. Students engage in a variety of project-based assessments to evaluate their understanding and progress. After completing the course, students are able to understand the planning and organization of a website, the elements of design and HTML, and the copyright and fair use doctrines that apply to website creation. Students also learn how to use a WYSIWIG editor and other online tools to create a website. The NVu software package is required for this course. Delivery Method Prerequisites The NVu software package is required for this course. Course Materials All course materials are available through the FuelEducation website. This course is recommended for PC users. The computer must use the Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4 operating system. Course Availability
