Course Description The objective of the Professional Secretary program is to provide students with the instruction necessary to obtain employment as secretaries, administrative assistants, or other similarly titled professional office positions. Students are provided with instruction on the following topics: maintaining a professional image; written communications; interpersonal and communication skills; time and stress management; administrative office procedures; technology; filing and records management; resources and references; math; PC basics; keyboarding and word processing; the Internet and the World Wide Web; integrated application; and office finances and management.
