Course Description The objective of the PC Fundamentals program is avocational in nature. It is designed to provide the student with knowledge of basic computer hardware and software. Upon completion of the program, the student will be familiar with hardware components such as hard drives, floppy disk drives, modems, CD-ROM's, and Microsoft Windows-based software. This program would be useful for someone who wanted to know more about operating their home or work computer. The topics include: understanding and using Windows; software, printers, scanners, and joysticks; Internet basics; word processing; and spreadsheets.
