Course Description The objective of the Visual Basic Programmer program is to teach the student how to use the Microsoft Visual Basic for Windows software package. Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to write Windows programs using the Visual Basic programming language. The program will provide the student with the necessary skills to obtain entry-level employment as a computer programmer in the Visual Basic programming language. The program covers the fundamentals of the program; menus, dialog boxes, and controls; graphics in visual basic; interfacing and file manipulation; arrays, OLE, and data control; and multimedia with Visual Basic. Students should be able to read at a 12th grade level to enroll in this program.
