Course Description Students will examine various nursing theories, as well as focus on the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment options. Students will also learn about professional and legal standards and ethics. Additional skills of communication, teaching, time and stress management, patient safety, and crisis management will be included. Delivery Method Course Materials An internet connection and computer or tablet hardware is required. Software requirements include a PDF reader, word-processing application (such as Word), MP4/video player, and Flash player (optional). Free downloadable software is available for each of these.
