Course Description Do you ever watch Criminal Minds or similar shows and are intrigued by the process of how the stars go about catching the killer or "unsub?" Do you ever think to yourself, "I could do that," or "that would be the greatest job in the world?" This course on profiling will allow you to play the part of your favorite profiler. You will be immersed in the middle of several crime scenes that will demand your utmost attention to detail. As the sole person in charge of the case, you will need to do psychological autopsies on the victims as well as pick up clues from the crime scenes that will shed light upon the personality of the killer. After making the web organizers that will link the victims and their profiles, you will be given, during the final week of the course, complete backgrounds of several persons of interest that you must critically sift through. Then, in the ultimate game of "Clue" you will submit your completed profile of the unsub and outline how the crimes relate to one another. If you dream about working for the FBI or being a police detective, this is the class that may be the first spark to a blistering and exciting career path.
