Course Description
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as lifelong learners. British Literature II has students read classic novels such as Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice. Students will have to respond to the text by writing an essay that will be graded using the Holistic scoring rubric. Students will also read the short story Adventure of the Speckled Arm Band along with reviewing grammar, parts of speech, identify propaganda and bias.
