Course Description
Commencing with the Colonization and Settlement of the New World and winding its way through America’s history into modern times, students will have the opportunity to learn about the nation’s past while exploring their own place in America. Students will learn of the colonization, the Revolutionary Era, the forming of the New Nation, the Civil War, Reconstruction the Progressive Era, World Wars, The Great Depression, the Cold War, and modern times. Citizenship, government, geography, economic, and sociological topics are incorporated throughout.
