Course Description
This course follows the pacing of a typical high school level sociology course. It offers a wide-ranging coverage of the core concepts and theories related to the study of sociology. Students are led through a series of lessons that emphasize the behavioral science of groups, communities, and societies. The process of socialization, norms, scientific research, social behavior, social institutions, culture, population, minorities, and changes to the informal and formal structure of society are explored in depth.
