Course Description Introduces students to the process of speechmaking; describes the difference between informative and persuasive speeches; walks students through the process of developing a speech, including organization and outlining; explains the importance and content of the introduction and conclusion of a speech; provides tips on rehearsing and delivering a speech; requires students to develop, rehearse, and videotape speeches to be submitted for grading.
