Course Description How electricity is generated and distributed; interpreting blueprints that represent various types of electrical systems; evaluating industrial electrical system requirements; specifying the correct equipment and conductor type and capacity for electrical systems; the role of each major component in a utility's electrical distribution system; the basic design characteristics of underground distribution systems. Penn Foster College requires a Proctored Final Exam. Proctor Final Exam requests are made by submitting the Proctor Form after the student submits the first course assignment. Self Paced Scheduling Information Please be advised some Penn Foster College courses provide an option for students to take the exam via Remote Proctor option. It allows you to take your Proctored Exam through your course page while being monitored through your computer's webcam. An additional fee is required for this option. Delivery Method
Prerequisites Fundamentals of Electricity Course Materials Penn Foster will have course materials, if any, shipped directly to students. There is no additional cost for course materials. Format Delivery : This is a virtual course delivered entirely by an established education organization, including a virtual instructor, to students and educators.
