Course Description Can you really learn something about history by reading Dr. Seuss? Yes, and if you take this course, you will! Challenge yourself to look beyond the simplicity. In World War II Through the Eyes of Dr. Seuss, you will encounter new stories, new questions, and new ways of looking at the works of Dr. Seuss. You will have many opportunities to share, create, and discuss interpretations of Dr. Seuss' works by merging your experiences with others: the author, his whimsical characters, and infamous historical figures, as you explore controversial topics, such as fascism, anti-Semitism, and racism. Delivery Method Course Materials Virtual High School will have course materials, if any, shipped directly to students. While there is no additional cost for course materials, there is an additional charge for shipping. Students are required to return such course materials to course instructor upon completion of the course. |
