Course Description This course guides students through an in-depth examination of the effects of exercise on the body. Students will learn how to exercise efficiently and properly and how to motivate themselves and others. Basic anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology will serve as a foundation for students to build effective exercise programs. The study of nutrition and human behavior will also be integrated into the course to enhance the students' comprehension of this multifaceted subject.
Delivery Method Other Information Students are required to keep a detailed log of their fitness activities and to monitor and verify their progress through periodic evaluations. In each course students view media-rich lessons, participate in class discussions, complete weekly assignments and quizzes, and reflect on their own situation and progress. Course Availability
