* Prospective NCAA Division I and II student-athletes should visit the NCAA Eligibility Center website (www.eligibilitycenter.org) and seek the NCAA's acceptance of a particular Education Provider's virtual course prior to registration.
Course Description Have you ever had an idea that you thought would make a great movie? Most of us have, but it's a huge leap from a rough concept to a polished script. This course is designed to equip students with the theory and structure of screenwriting so that they may mold their ideas into a professional product designed for the screen. Emphasis is upon the literary conventions of the form -- character, conflict, plot, dialogue -- as well as the technical elements which make scripts and screenwriting unique. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to conceive, develop, and craft their own original idea into a professional screenplay. Delivery Method Course Materials Virtual High School will have course materials, if any, shipped directly to students. While there is no additional cost for course materials, there is an additional charge for shipping. Students are required to return such course materials to course instructor upon completion of the course. |
