Course Description The focus of this course is on the development of sound reasoning abilities while supporting a student's skills in applying logic to arguments and position statements in day-to-day life. Students taking this course will learn logical argument analysis, an integral part of mathematics and the scientific process, by examining arguments from both the current political environment as well as from historical speeches. This course is designed for any students who enjoys mathematics and is interested in understanding the connections between logic, mathematics, and everyday life.
Delivery Method Prerequisites Completed or currently enrolled in Pre-Calculus Course Materials Virtual High School will have course materials, if any, shipped directly to students. While there is no additional cost for course materials, there is an additional charge for shipping. Students are required to return such course materials to course instructor upon completion of the course. |
