Course Description This 18-week course is a reading- and writing-intensive version of our Shakespearean Literature course. Students study and interpret the works of William Shakespeare, such as Hamlet, A Midsummer's Night Dream and Romeo and Juliet. Honors Shakespearean Literature can be combined with Honors Drama Literature to make a full year (2-semester) course. This course meets state standards and is based on the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) standards. College prep.
