Course Description
Do you have a great idea to start a business or would you like to find out the proper way to do so? Is there a product or service that you know will solve a problem or help consumers? Do you feel that you would like to study more about business? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this is the course for you.

Entrepreneurship prepares future small business owners to run their own businesses according to the principles of business and experience the entrepreneurial spirit. You will learn how to develop a business and write a business plan to promote that business idea. Future business people must understand economics, financial statements, selling techniques, marketing, investing, business structures, legal issues, banking, technology and taxation. In entrepreneurship, we will teach you how to use all of these principles of business in order to develop a successful business and kindle in you an entrepreneurial spirit to follow your dreams and reach your goals.

We will also be using an Internet-based learning program called BizTech that is correlated with the textbook and used to reinforce the business concepts we will study. Students will be using this on line program to do their comprehensive business plan also. You will have the opportunities to compete in national business plan competitions. After passing the final exam and paying a fee, you can earn one to three college credits through the State University of New York at Empire State College.

Come join our business group and develop a business that someday could be a great career for you. This is a course where dreams are made into realities.
