Course Description Health I is an introduction to high school health curriculum topics. Healthy lifestyles, development, sexual activity, infectious and noninfectious diseases, alcohol, illegal drugs, and tobacco use are discussed. There will also be a general review of first aid and sports injury causes and treatment procedures. The course will wrap up with personal safety and proper use of communication during adolescence and adulthood. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days.
