Course Description
This course is a foundation of theory for responsible driving. Emphasis is placed upon mechanics of driving, execution of driving operations and rules of safe driving. This course is the equivalent of a one-semester course or if taking the Credit Recovery version a remediation of one-semester.

ABBREVIATED COURSE
Shortened course using a selection of material from COMPLETE COURSE for students seeking enrichment or to recover credits or make-up failed courses during the regular school year or over the summer.

PARTIAL COURSE
Part of COMPLETE COURSE for students in need of tutoring or temporarily away from class (i.e. HomeBound Instruction, In/Out of school suspension).

Self Paced Scheduling Information
Complete Courses
- Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed within 9 months
- 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed within 4 months
- 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed within 2 months

Abbreviated Courses
- Abbreviated courses must be completed within 2 months

Partial Courses
- Monthly courses must be completed within 1 month
