Course Description
Fundamentals of Art Appreciation course explores various aspects of art in an effort to intrigue students’ minds, encouraging them to adopt a fascination for an understanding of fine art. As students are introduced to the elements and principles of art, they will study important works of art, selected from various types of media, including painting, sculpture, architecture, and photography. various types of art media and techniques will be explored as the question of why art is created is investigated. This course will provide students with a working knowledge of concepts and an enriched vocabulary so that they can become more informed consumers of art.
